About me
My name is Leigh Loveday (Dip.Couns, Reg MBACP). I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor and therapist and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
In order to maintain professional standards and client safety I adhere strictly to their ethical framework.
I offer counselling for couples and individuals. This is face to face in the therapy room or by video call. We begin by having an initial conversation which is either by video call or phone. This is usually around half an hour, is free of charge and with no further obligation. It is a chance for us to engage with each other and to chat about your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. I will also answer any of your questions or concerns. This initial consultation offers us the space to get to know each other before you embark upon your healing journey with me, if that is what you choose to do. In order to support you to the best of my abilities, I attend monthly supervision sessions with a BACP accredited supervisor. I hold full professional liability insurance and am DBS checked and cleared. To continue to maintain high professional standards I also undertake continual professional development (CPD) in line with the BACP rules and regulations.
Sessions for individuals last 50 minutes and are £50. Sessions for couples are 50 minutes and are £70.
